Alternative BACKUP for MMS5  with SQL

Close MMS 5

1        Stop  SQL server

                   Select keys  Ctrl + Alt +Del

                  Display:   Windows Task Manager

                  Select:   sqlserv.exe     Click on   End Process

2        Select  the directory     Program Files  

                    Open   MMS 

                          Open  Maintenance Software
                               Open  Data

                        Select this two files     MMS_Data. MDF

                                                            MMS_Log. LDF

Copy this two files to a new directory of your selection or to your USB memory stick,

To  RESTORE the data

1        Stop  SQL server

                   Select keys  Ctrl + Alt +Del

                  Display:   Windows Task Manager

                  Select:   sqlserv.exe     Click on   End Process

2   Locate the directory or media where you stored your backup files  
                   Copy this two files     MMS_Data. MDF

                                                       MMS_Log. LDF

2        Select  the directory     Program Files  

                    Open   MMS 

                          Open  Maintenance Software

                                           Open  Data

                    Paste this two files     MMS_Data. MDF

                                                       MMS_Log. LDF

Start The MMS
